Case Study of Sprintform’s service for Causely.io

Phase 1: Planning and UI/UX Design Prototype:

‍Causely envisioned an innovative solution to automate the manual tasks of DevOps professionals. Sprintform's role began with a Discovery Phase, which was crucial to transforming this vision into a viable product. Phase 1 included:

Stakeholder Interviews: Sprintform conducted comprehensive interviews with Causely's stakeholders and potential users to understand their needs, clarify the vision, and define the purpose of the solution. These interviews helped identify the key pain points and requirements froma user's perspective.

Storymap: Using insights gathered from stakeholder interviews and user journey mapping, Sprintform created a thorough storymap in order to prepare the development of the MVP based on the prototype. This prototype would serve as a foundation for further development, aligning with Causely's vision and user expectations.

User Journey Mapping: Sprintform mapped out the user journeys to illustrate the to-be state, defining essential features and thescope of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This detailed mapping ensured that the solution would address the real-world challenges faced by DevOps teams.

Phase 2: Frontend Development

‍Following the successful Discovery phase of the frontend prototype, Sprintform transitioned to the development phase of Causely’s frontend admin solution. The focus was on creating a usable and user-friendly interface prototype. Key activities in Phase 2 included:

Frontend Development: Sprintform developed a dashboard for Causely that Product Owner and DevOps teams could use to manage their data. The project's main feature was a causal graph explaining Causely's inference. This causal graph explains the root causes and effects within the client's system, visualizing these relationships using a graph data structure.

User Testing and Feedback: Throughout the development process, Sprintform conducted rigorous testing sessions to gather feedback and make iterative improvements. This user-centric approach ensured that the final product met the needs and expectations of its users.

Additional Features: After the 1-month frontend development phase, Sprintform assisted with additional features and UI enhancements required by Causely.
